The Adirondack Theatre Festival announces that the 2020 season will not go on as planned, adding to the long list of items halted by the coronavirus pandemic.
In a press release, the organization notes they exhausted every possible option to allow the ATF to stay intact in 2020, the logistics behind keeping the festival going, including safety precautions to keep theatre-goers as well as the performers and those who work behind the scenes, proved to be difficult.
The festival will return in 2021, but offers a way to support the Adirondack Theatre Festival as well as the downtown restaurants and shops that benefit from the ATF season through a digital platform called ATF on Demand, giving you access to past performances for a monetary contribution of $50 or more. In addition to the on demand access, $25 of all contributions of $50 or greater will go towards a purchase of a gift card to a downtown Glens Falls business.
Contributions will go towards ATF’s operating expenses, including supporting their artists and staff and to help weather the storm through the pandemic.
