Queensbury United Methodist Church – All Sunday Worship services cancelled until further notice. Pastor Brooke Newell will livestream sermons.

St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s, Hudson Falls – Closed for all masses and activities until further notice.

Strand Theater – All in-person events are cancelled until further notice.
Warren/Washington Counties STD/HIV Clinic – Cancelled until further notice
Moreau Community Center – Closed until further notice. All non-essential programs are suspended, Thrift and Craft Stores are closed, and the Dial-A-Bus is not running. Client Services and Emergency Food Pantry still operating.
Operation Adopt-A-Soldier – Is not accepting donations at this time, will update when they are ready to accept again.
Saratoga Springs History Museum – Closed.
Saratoga Springs – All city parks are closed to the public until further notice.
Saratoga Casino and Hotel – Casino closed to all guests. Racing suspended until further notice. Hotel remains open.
South Glens Falls Village Hall – Closed until further notice.
BEYOND THE TRI-COUNTIES
National Baseball Hall of Fame – Closed. Hall of Fame Weekend (May 22-24) is cancelled.
All Catholic Masses in the Albany Diocese have been suspended until further notice. Churches will remain open for private prayer, weddings and funerals.
Adirondack Mountain Club closed its lodging facilities and High Peaks Information Center through April 30. Parking lots will remain open for hikers.
NY State Museum, NY State Library & NY State Archives, Albany – closed
Pawlet Community Church, Pawlet, VT – Public suppers cancelled until further notice.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren and Essex Counties will be closing their offices effective 12:00noon on Wednesday 3/18 until further notice. All programs, including 4-H club meetings, have been cancelled.
AMTRAK: All train service north of Albany is suspended until further notice as of Thursday, March 26th, as Vermont Governor Phil Scott suspends all Vermont rail service, including the Vermonter between St. Albans and Washington D.C., and the Ethan Allen Express between Rutland and New York City. Amtrak announces that the Ethan Allen Express will now terminate in Albany, with service only between Albany and New York City.
This joins the Adirondack service which two weeks ago was announced by Amtrak that the line would be suspended north of Albany.
There will be no rail service between FORT EDWARD / SARATOGA SPRINGS and New York City for the foreseeable future.
GREATER GLENS FALLS TRANSIT (GGFT) is running limited service to Queensbury, Hudson Falls and Fort Edward from Glens Falls Monday-Friday only. F.A.M.E. SERVICE STILL SHUT DOWN.
CAPITAL DISTRICT TRANSIT AUTHORITY (CDTA) is amending weekday schedules on all bus routes, with many weekday routes shifting to a Saturday schedule with a stronger focus towards medical facilities.

Bowl for Kid’s Sake Postponed:
Due to the unprecedented health risks associated with the spread of the COVID-19 and the concerted effort of organizations at all levels to do their share to reduce those risks, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks will postpone our upcoming Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. We have made arrangements to reschedule this event to OCTOBER:
Registered bowlers are asked to call the BBBS office at 518-798-1010 to reschedule your bowling time. Any bowler/team unable to reschedule are asked to participate in our virtual bowling party. More information will be forthcoming in the next several days.
BBBS’s School-Based programs have been suspended until further notice in accordance with the guidance of public health and the school districts
MEALS ON WHEELS in Warren and Hamilton Counties needs your help!
They’re looking for younger volunteers that could help deliver meals three days a week to seniors who are dependent on these meals to eat daily.
