A website called enjoy travel recently came out with a survey on the most friendly and least friendly states in the country. New York State was deemed to be the least friendly state in the US. Unfortunately I believe that NY city is bringing down the rest of the state as usual. This coming from someone who was born in the city. I was always shocked at how rude people in NY city were and never felt comfortable there. I was definitely supposed to be a country boy. Not surprisingly, the Northeast has 5 of the top 10 least friendly states. One surprise as the 2nd least friendly state was Arkansas, which I just assumed was pretty friendly. Vermont was the 13 least friendly or 37th most friendly if you're being a glass half full person. I was also glad to see that the one state that I'd like to eventually be in, Wyoming, was considered the 4th most friendly state. If you'd like see it for yourself, use your favorite search engine and type in least friendly states. It's pretty interesting.
