Monday, October 28th is National First Responders day. Did you know there are over 25 million first responders across the US. It all started in 2014 when Doug Stapleton of the Stacy Foundation contacted congressman Mark Meadows about establishing a National day to honor first responders. There are so many ways to honor first responders in your area, whether you personally thank one on the street or donate to a local EMS organization. There is plenty of information on their website, at thankyoufirstresponder.org. Thanks again to our local first responders here in Queensbury and all the others throughout Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties. You are appreciated!
