The annual American Legion Memorial Day Parade will be Friday, May 30 (Traditional Memorial Day).  Line up begins at 5:00 PM at Palmer Ave & Fifth Ave.  The parade steps off at 6:00 PM down Palmer Ave, stopping briefly at the bottom of the school hill for a wreath laying ceremony, continuing down Palmer Ave to West Mechanic St and ending at the Firehouse.  Co-Grand Marshalls of the parade are Dr. Richard Pitkin & Terry Towers.  The Legion will also be conducting a wreath laying ceremony at each cemetery and a memorial service for naval veterans at the boat launch at 12:00 PM on May 30th.
