South Glens Falls, NY: The Moreau Community Center will host the 14th Annual Block Party & Basket Raffle on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 9am to 3pm, at 144 Main Street and along New Street, South Glens Falls, NY. This free, family-friendly event will include a mum sale, food vendors, fire trucks, music, face painting, dunk booth, vendors, games, prizes, a bounce house, animals, and more to support the mission and community work of the Center. There will also be a large basket raffle, a favorite block party tradition, with over 100 baskets with the drawing at 2pm. The event is rain-or-shine, tobacco-free, and predominantly outdoors on the Center property and on New Street which will be closed to through traffic that day. Organization information and vendor tables will be present all along New Street. Basket raffle donations are appreciated. Sponsor yard signs showing support for the Center are available for $100 each. FunZone event sponsors are Hudson Headwaters Health Network, MVP Healthcare, and Casella Waste along with other community supporters..
