Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, Marty Stuart lead Opry Cast in London
The Grand Ole Opry outdid itself celebrating 100 Years! The year was full of special moments: from theme nights honoring legends like Roy Acuff and Porter Wagoner, loads of special guest stars, many groundbreaking debut performances and the hit NBC Television Special hosted by Blake Shelton. Now, for the first time in 100 years, the Opry is headed to London!
On September 26, 2025 Royal Albert Hall will host the historic Grand Ole Opry - for it's first-ever international debut. Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, Ashely McBryde, Carly Pearce and Marty Stuart will be joined by UK artists Mumford & Sons and Breabach for an unforgettable night of international talent uniting on Country Music's most famous show. In addition to hearing the show on Opry.com, UK fans will be able to enjoy the magic via the BBC.
The Opry's London show reminds me of two of my favorite albums that had connections to the UK- Ricky Skaggs Live In London, recorded at the peak of his career at the Dominion Theater in 1985, and Lorrie Morgan's joyous project Merry Christmas From London, featuring the New World Philharmonic Orchestra, Tammy Wynette, Andy Williams and Johnny Mathis.
As the Opry rolls into 101 Years, a big return to Carnegie Hall is already scheduled for 2026.
