Robin Kirkpatrick says she is going to ride out the storm
Robin Kirkpatrick lives in south Florida, but is originally from the Capital Region. Her home is directly in the path of Hurricane Milton, but she plans to stay put. In an interview with NewsChannel 13, Robin says her family in the Albany area tried to convince her to leave, but she and her husband will remain in their home south of Tampa.
We can't leave our home because if windows break, if there's any kind of flooding there's gonna be looters.
Hurricane Milton is expected to hit the Gulf Coast of Florida Wednesday night and into Thursday with winds in excess of 100mph and storm surges expected to produce waves between 10 and 15 feet.
