Tommy Bleyl was the #31 pick in the NHL Draft on Friday.
A hockey player from Glenville will get to live out his dream. On Friday night 18 year old Tommy Bleyl stood on stage at Buffalo's KeyBank Center for the NHL draft and was chosen by the Nashville Predators.
Growing up in Glenville, Tommy went to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake high school, where he played hockey his freshman year. He then transferred to Albany Academy, then to Cushing Academy in Massachusetts.
He's been playing in some junior Canadian leagues and will play at least one season at Michigan State University in 2027-2028 before heading to Nashville.
Congrats Tommy!
