Celebrate a delicious day

National Cheeseburger Day is Friday, September 18, and there are plenty of places around the Capital Region where you can celebrate without paying full price.

From free cheeseburgers to buy-one-get-one deals, several national chains with locations in our area are offering specials for the day.

Applebee’s

Applebee’s is offering a Classic Burger or Classic Cheeseburger with fries for $8.99 on Friday. The deal is available for dine-in or orders placed through Applebee’s online or mobile app at participating locations.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buy one burger and get one free at Buffalo Wild Wings on Friday. For online orders, use the promo code BURGERDAY. The offer excludes lunch combo and kids’ menu burgers.

Burger King

Royal Perks members can get a free Bacon Cheeseburger with a purchase of $3 or more on National Cheeseburger Day. The offer is available through the Burger King app or online at participating locations.

Dairy Queen

DQ Rewards members can get a free Single Original Cheeseburger Signature Stackburger with an app order of $1 or more. The deal has been running all week and ends Friday. It is available at participating DQ Grill & Chill locations.

Five Guys

This may be one of the biggest deals of the day. Five Guys is offering buy one burger, get one burger of equal or lesser value free through Friday.

You’ll need to order through the Five Guys app or website and use the promo code BOGOBURGER. The deal is not available for in-store orders or through third-party delivery services.

McDonald’s

MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can get a free Double Cheeseburger with a minimum $1 purchase on Friday. The offer is available through the McDonald’s app at participating locations.

Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub

Ninety Nine is offering a cheeseburger with fries for $8.99 from opening until 5 p.m. on Friday. This one is for dine-in guests.

Red Robin

Red Robin is offering its Red’s Double Tavern Burger with a Bottomless Side and Bottomless Beverage starting at $9.99. The deal is available for dine-in on National Cheeseburger Day.
