Yes, over the weekend there was actually a moose wandering around Rensselaer County. It was seen in both Troy and East Greenbush by multiple people.
Where was it seen? There were spotting in Frear Park and also Patroon Lane in East Greenbush.
If it is still in the area and if you happen to see the moose, do not approach it. Leave it alone. It's a wild animal.
