Jennifer Nettles is back on stage in NYC
Jennifer Nettles was the powerful voice behind the Sugarland hits 'Baby Girl' 'Something More' 'Stay' and 'Stuck Like Glue'. Along the way, she's also showcased her talents as an actress in TV roles like 'Coat Of Many Colors' and 'Righteous Gemstones'. Moreover, she's had an impressive run in the Broadway Musicals 'Chicago' and 'Waitress', fueling her dream to create her own Musical!
Jennifer has taken on the task of writing the book, music and lyrics for Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo! In addition, she stars as Giulia, in the off-Broadway production at PAC NYC, which started running in the Summer of 2026. According to the New York Theater Guide: "The musical is a larger-than-life tale about a larger-than-life but real, historical figure: the famed woman Giulia Tofana who started an underground poison network in Italy. What began as an act of self-defense quickly grew into a powerful sisterhood — but one that also brought about much danger and scrutiny."
