A manhunt is ongoing, per the New York State Police, near Warrensburg

The New York State Police shut down U.S. Route 9 between Lake George and Warrensburg for awhile Thursday Morning while a manhunt was ongoing.
While Route 9 has reopened, police are still searching for a suspect described as a black male in their early 20's, wearing a grey sweatshirt and a backpack. As noted below, if anyone sees a person matching this description, to contact State Police at 518-457-6811.
There is no immediate word to why police are searching for the suspect, or if they possess any danger to the community.

There was rumors that a man matching the suspect's description was seen near the Price Chopper in Warrensburg.
