If you travel Bay Road or Corinth Road in Queensbury, be prepared for construction
The Warren County Department of Public Works is preparing for two Queensbury projects to get under way as the calendar transitions into May.
The work is to take place on County Route 7, Bay Road, between the City of Glens Falls line and Quaker Road, and County Route 28, Corinth Road, between Southwestern Avenue and Indiana Avenue.
The week of April 27th crews will begin preparing the sites for work to begin the following week. On Monday and Tuesday nights the week of May 4th, Bay Road will be milled. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week work will be done on Corinth Road, again at night.
The following week paving will take place, with Corinth Road first getting repaved overnights on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the week, with Bay Road on the overnights of Thursday and Friday.
Motorists are asked to slow down in work zones and to anticipate delays in their commute.
