The outage affects the southern edge of Fort Edward Village
FORT EDWARD - The Village of Fort Edward announces a water main break necessitating in the water being shut off.
The main break is taking place in the King Edward Knolls neighborhood on the southern end of Fort Edward. Water service has been shut off to those in King Edward Knolls, Drifting Ridge Neighborhood, and the southern tip of the Village of Fort Edward on Route 4 south of Argyle Street (NY Route 197), which includes the Old Fort House Museum and Lock 7 of the Champlain Canal.
The break happens just after a water boil order was lifted just near the Fort Edward Union Free School, near Case Street and southern end of Burgoyne Avenue, following a water main break there.
